- a family of three: gross monthly income is $2,008; net monthly income is $1,545
- a family of four: gross monthly income is $2,422; net monthly income is $1,863.
- Add $414 (to the gross income amount) and $319 (to the net income amount) for each additional household member.
- Work requirements:
Most future SNAP enrollees must meet a work requirement. Adult SNAP recipients will need to actively seek employment or participate in a training program. The ISD (Income Support Division) will review these activities and assist you in finding suitable employment.
3. How to apply for Food Stamps in New Mexico (NM)?
To apply for Food Stamps in New Mexico, you can fill out a paper application at your local Human Services Department office or call 1-800-432-6217.
