How to use EBT cards or SNAP at Sheetz?

  • Step 1: Go shopping. Scan each item you select and place it in your shopping cart. Each of your items will be scanned by the cashier. If you purchase both SNAP-eligible and non-SNAP-eligible items, you can combine them at the checkout or separate them.
  • Step 2: Insert your EBT card. After scanning each item, the cashier will ask you to insert your EBT card into the reader.
  • Step 3: Type in your four-digit PIN code. After inserting your card into the reader, you must enter your PIN into the machine to complete the transaction.
  • Step 4: Finish your transaction. If each item is eligible for EBT payment, you may leave the store once your payment has been authorized.

You can shop at Sheetz if you’re with a member or have a membership card from someone else. You must first purchase a Sheetz membership. Sheetz members are the only ones who can make purchases in person.
